FELDA settlers can determine the fate of the country and must vote to save Malaysia, said Muhyiddin Yassin in Pagoh tonight.
“We live in extraordinary times now, where our leaders are the cause of our problems,” said the Pagoh incumbent, who is eyeing his eighth term, at Felda Sri Ledang.
He said never before has Malaysia had a “thief” as a prime minister.
“We had Tunku Abdul Rahman, who was succeeded by Abdul Razak (Hussein), who developed Felda. He was succeeded by Hussein Onn, and then, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, but none of them ever faced such allegations,” said the former deputy prime minister.
He said Malaysia has never had to deal with a situation where the prime minister is accused of stealing from the country.
“1Malaysia Development Bhd has racked up RM42 billion in debt, and the money has gone to Najib Razak, his wife Rosmah Mansor, Jho Low and (Najib’s) stepson Riza Aziz.
“So, it is up to you to make sure that Pakatan Harapan wins, so that we can send the thief to jail.”
He said settlers must not accept money from Umno to close down voting stations.
“If you do that, the losers will be all of you in the end.”
The Bersatu president said PH has promised to write off all of the settlers’ Felda debts should it take over Putrajaya in the 14th general election. – May 4, 2018.
