THOUSANDS of people turned up in Bukit Katil, Malacca, for a Pakatan Harapan ceramah tonight, featuring heavyweights PH chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and former ministers Daim Zainuddin and Rafidah Aziz.

Also taking to the stage will be PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu.

The ceramah will be held under a makeshift tent, opposite shoplots and beside a main road.

Projectors and speakers have been set up, and stalls selling food, souvenirs and PH merchandise are seen near the venue.

Local PH leaders have started giving their speeches, and at the mention of caretaker prime minister Najib Razak, the crowd booed.

The attendees cheered when the local leaders said if PH takes over Putrajaya in the 14th general election, it will abolish the goods and services tax. – May 4, 2018.
