A TOTAL of 111,702 officers and men of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are eligible for early voting in the 14th general election tomorrow nationwide, said Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
Bernama reported him saying that of the total, 5,660 officers and men could cast their ballots at Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur, while the rest could do so at 14 PDRM contingent and police headquarters nationwide.
“7,695 retired officers and men will also be involved in early voting. They have not yet changed their registration status to ordinary voters,” he told a press conference at Bukit Aman today.
Fuzi said the officers and men would be voting from 9am until 5pm tomorrow.
He also said that 5,854 officers and men would be voting through the post from today, including 20 involved in a peace mission in Sudan.
“Postal voting has started today, involving 1,796 officers and personnel in Bukit Aman, with the rest in contingents throughout the country.β β May 4, 2018.
