RAFIDAH Aziz’s endorsement of Pakatan Harapan has social media users praising the former minister.

In a post on Facebook, the former Wanita Umno chief said that Malaysians should drop Barisan Nasional for PH when they vote on May 9.

PH is led by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is also Bersatu chairman.

Facebook user Fadzillah Hamid said: “Hapuskan makhluk perosak negara demi Malaysia tercinta… Tun bakal memperbaiki semula kemegahan Malaysia.”

(“Eliminate the pests for beloved Malaysia .. Tun (Mahathir) will revitalise Malaysia to its former glory.”)

Another user, Nurul Jannah, said that Malaysians should allow a new group to manage the country and see what happens.

“If they do a bad job then we can change again. If not, we will never know what is happening in our country. So vote for PKR (PH),” she said.

Facebook users also praised Rafidah for her brashness in calling on all Malaysians to support PH.

Sheriff Yacob said: “Saya sangat bersetuju dengan saranan Tan Sri. Kita perlu mengebeling tenaga untuk menegakkan rumah kita yang senget. Paling penting sekali, kita mesti hapuskan makhluk perosak sebelum rumah kita runtuh! Kita cuma ada beberapa hari saja lagi. Jangan lupa tarikh keramat – 9hb Mei 2018.”

In previous posts, Rafidah had repeatedly spoken on the breakdown of the rule of law in the country and the erosion of integrity.

She had particularly criticised the 1Malaysia Development Berhad financial scandal.

Rafidah had deplored how nothing had been done in Malaysia even as other countries launched investigations into the state investor presided over by caretaker prime minister Najib Razak. – May 1, 2018.
