HANNAH Yeoh wants Segambut voters to be vigilantes and help stop any acts of vandalism on her campaign material.
The former Selangor speaker said Pakatan Harapan has limited resources and fears her party’s flags, banners and buntings may be pulled down by rival party workers.
“We don’t have unlimited resources like the other side. We hope nobody vandalises our publicity materials,” she said.
Yeoh’s army of volunteers started putting up flags and buntings since nomination yesterday.
“We played by the rules and our flags here only went up yesterday,” Yeoh said.
The campaign period for the 14th general election began yesterday on April 28 and will end on May 8.
Yeoh will face a three-cornered battle for the parliamentary seat with BN’s Loga Bala Mohan and PAS’ Mohd Solleh Ab Razak. – April 29, 2018.
