WANGSA Maju PKR candidate Dr Tan Yee Kew’s candidacy was almost rejected when she could not produce her identity card.

However, Election Commission officials accepted her nomination forms after she provided a photocopy and photograph of her original MyKad.

Earlier, there was some drama when an EC officer denied her entry to the nomination centre as she could not produce her MyKad.

Tan then waited as party officials scrambled to get a copy of the MyKad.
