MOHAMED Azmin Ali of Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Juwairiya Zulkifli of Pakatan Harapan (PH) are set to face off for the Hulu Kelang state seat in Selangor.
The candidates were announced by returning officer Khairul Arzawati Khalid at SMK Sungai Pusu, Gombak, this morning.
Azmin, who is the Selangor PN chairman, was the Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman.
Juwairiya, who is political secretary to caretaker Selangor menteri besar Amiruddin Shari, has also moved to Hulu Kelang from Bukit Melawati, which she had held since 2014.
Early voting is on August 8. The rest of Selangor will vote on August 12. – July 29, 2023.
