THE Road Transport Department has extended the bidding period for the “FF” series number plates to 10pm today.

Bidding on the JPJeBid system was scheduled to end yesterday.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said this was after many complaints about the high traffic on the system.

“To be fair, JPJ has extended the bidding time for 24 hours,” he said on Facebook yesterday.

Loke said he had met with the ministry’s digital advisory committee for advice on how to improve the system. – Bernama, May 19, 2023
