PAKATAN Harapan (PH) wants Malaysia to be on par with South Korea in five years time, PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said tonight.
The PH deputy prime minister candidate said if the opposition takes over Putrajaya, the coalition will bring about drastic changes within five years.
“We are discussing the manifesto tonight. We want our development to mean something for our country. Malaysia will be on par with South Korea and it will be known as the Asian tiger,” Wan Azizah said during her speech at PH’s manifesto launch.
She also said the people need not to be fooled by the Umno propaganda that they only can rule governments well.
Dr Wan Azizah, who is also the Permatang Pauh lawmaker pleaded to all Malaysians to throw their support behind PH in the next elections to bring about a change.
“We will ride together. We are Malaysians, this is our responsibility, this is our country. We can make a change to our fates, we need to work hard for it. We call all Malaysians together with PH to build a new Malaysia,” she said.
PH is launching its manifesto for the 14th general elections tonight. The manifesto contains 10 promises that the opposition coalition would like to achieve in 100 days if it takes over Putrajaya. – March 8, 2018.
