THE search and rescue operation (SAR) at the camping site of Father’s Organic Farm, in Gohtong Jaya, Batang Kali, has been halted due to rain, according to Hulu Selangor police chief Suffian Abdullah.

“The SAR operation for the nine people still missing has been postponed and will resume at 8am tomorrow following unsuitable weather conditions,” he said tonight.

So far 24 people are confirmed dead, 61 rescued, while a further nine are still missing. – Bernama, December 18, 2022.
