SARAWAK will start administering a second Covid-19 booster to 60-year-olds with high-risk comorbidities and immunocompromised over-12s from Friday.
Deputy Premier Douglas Uggah Embas announced the inoculation exercise today, saying that those involved can get their jab at government clinics and private facilities designated as vaccination centres.
He also appealed to the members of the groups to book their appointments.
As of yesterday, 1.87 million (91%) adults aged 18 and above in the state have completed their vaccination.
As for teenagers aged 12 to 17, 275,699 (92.6%) have completed their vaccination, while for children aged 5 to 11, 84,677 (38%) have received the first dose.
As for the booster, 1.63 million (90%) of those eligible have been inoculated. – April 20, 2022.
