A TOTAL of 22.85 million individuals, or 97.6% of the adult population in the country have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

Based on the CovidNow website, 23.14 million individuals or 98.9% of the group have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

As for the adolescent population, those aged between 12 and 17, a total of 2.75 million individuals or 87.4% have completed their vaccination, while 2.84 million or 90.4% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

A total of 153,228 vaccine doses were dispensed yesterday, of which 145,179 were booster doses, 4,653 second doses and 3,396 first doses.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday to 57.11 million, including 5.73 million booster doses. – Bernama, December 29, 2021.
