MALAYSIA reported 5,097 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 2,619,577.

The case breakdown according to states will be uploaded onto the CovidNow portal after midnight.

Noor Hisham said the infectivity rate (Rt) stood at 0.97, from 0.9 from the day before.

As of yesterday, 95.9% of the adult population have been vaccinated while 98% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

For adolescents, 83.1% have been fully inoculated while 87.9% have received at least one shot. – November 27, 2021.
