New Covid-19 cases surpass 21,000 mark for second day

A DAY after reporting a record-breaking number of daily Covid-19 infections, Malaysia reported 21,468 new cases today, which is its second highest count so far.

Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the fresh cases took the national caseload to 1,363,683.

The country logged an all-time high of 21,668 cases yesterday.

Selangor once again led the daily tally with 7,449 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,183). – August 13, 2021.
