29 new Covid-19 clusters, 10 in Kelantan

TWENTY-NINE new Covid-19 clusters were detected in the last 24 hours, 10 of which are in Kelantan with most of them involving community transmissions, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

Of the total nationwide, 13 were linked to workplaces, the director-general of health said. The remaining clusters involve high-risk groups and education and religious institutes.

Besides the 10 in Kelantan, there were six in Johor, three each in Penang and Pahang, two in Kuala Lumpur and one each in Sabah, Terengganu, Kedah, Perak and Selangor.

The workplace clusters are:

1. Jalan Bestari Empat in Johor Baru, Johor (45 cases);

2. Jalan Industry Lapan Emas in Pontian, Johor (24 cases);

3. Batu 10 Skudai in Johor Baru and Kulai, Johor (19 cases);

4. Industry Lagenda Putra Lapan in Kulai, Johor (16 cases);

5. Industry Perai Dua in north, south and central Seberang Prai, Penang (35 cases);

6. Lintang Batu Lanchang in northeast and southwest Penang (24 cases);

7. Prai Free Trade Zone in central and south Seberang Prai, Penang (10 cases);

8. Batu Lima 2 construction site in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur (179 cases);

9. Jalan Pusat Bandar in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur (19 cases);

10. Sg Enggang in Rompin, Pahang (14 cases);

11. Kg Tanjung Balok in Kuantan, Pahang (nine cases);

12. Sibulu in Tenom, Sabah (55 cases); and

13. Cabang Tiga Lemal in Pasir Mas, Kelantan (eight cases).

The community clusters are:

1. Paloh Gua Musang in Gua Musang, Kelantan (34 cases);

2. Aring Gua Musang in Gua Musang, Kelantan (32 cases);

3. Kg Bukit Cina Kok Lanas in Kota Baru and Machang, Kelantan (22 cases);

4. Cabang Empat Chetok 2 in Pasir Mas, Kelantan (18 cases);

5. Kg Kubang Telaga in Bachok, Kelantan (16 cases);

6. Kg Dewan Kecil in Machang, Kelantan (10 cases);

7. Kerteh Tiga in Dungun, Terengganu (60 cases);

8. Dah Kg Tok in Kota Setar, Kedah (39 cases);

9. Tembeling Tengah in Jerantut, Pahang (27 cases);

10. Kg Esso Intan in Hilir Perak, Perak (22 cases); and

11. Kg Raya Sagil in Tangkak, Johor (13 cases).

The high-risk group clusters are:

1. Jalan Pekan Baru in Klang, Selangor (24 cases);

2. Jalan Hospital Bandar Kota Baru in Kota Baru, Pasir Mas and Pasir Puteh, Kelantan (17 cases); and

3. Jalan Temenggong  Ahmad in Muar, Johor (nine cases).

The education institution cluster is Kg Dalam Rhu Tumpat in Tumpat, Kelantan (23 cases) and the religious place cluster is Kg Belukar Kadok in Kota Baru, Kelantan.
