PKR asks all political appointees in Kelantan to resign

PKR has asked all political appointees to resign from their posts in PAS-run Kelantan, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said yesterday.

The move comes following the end of political cooperation between the two parties, the PKR president said, referring to PAS’ formal announcement of the decision last week.

PKR has accepted the decision and has asked those leaders holding posts from the Kelantan government to resign.

“This decision has been conveyed to the Kelantan executive council,” she said at the PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

Focus is now shifted to Selangor where three PAS assemblymen hold exco posts under the administration of Mohamed Azmin Ali. – May 17, 2017.
