Police awaiting AGC's decision on Neelofa case

POLICE are awaiting the public prosecutor’s decision on investigations into celebrity Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor and her husband for allegedly breaching the standard operating procedure of the conditional movement control order.

Nilai police chief Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the investigation papers were sent for the second time to the prosecutor’s office on May 11.

It was previously returned to the police for further investigation earlier this month.

“The investigation papers are still with the Attorney-General’s Chambers. If there is any development, I will let you know,” he told The Malaysian Insight.

Neelofa and her husband were investigated for allegedly crossing the state border to go to Nilai in Negri Sembilan. – May 19, 2021.
