MALAYSIA registered 3,120 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, with Selangor once again at the top of the daily infection list.
Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the fresh cases have taken the country’s caseload to 420,632.
Selangor topped the daily tally with 675 cases, followed by Sarawak (620) and Kuala Lumpur (408).
Active cases continued to rise to 31,516, from yesterday’s 30,753.
Only six of today’s cases were imported while the rest stemmed from local transmission.
Noor Hisham also said 2,334 patients had recovered, taking the cumulative total of recoveries to 387,542. – May 4, 2021.
