Earlier this year,  a Robinson R66 Turbine helicopter crashed near the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) in Pulau Indah

The pilot had lost control of the vehicle during a hover training session, sending it plummeting from a height of about four metres.

The helicopter overturned upon landing, causing the tail end to break off and be flung 20 metres from the crash site.

The pilot, who was 73, and his passenger, 53, were slightly injured and treated at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.

In November, two helicopters collided in mid-air over a school in Taman Melawati.

Mohamed Sabri Baharom, 56, and Mohd Irfan Fikri Mohamed Rawi, 44, were killed in the collision.
