THE Health Ministry has detected 10 new Covid-19 clusters in the past 24 hours, director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement today.
Eight were linked to workplaces and one was tied to a community infection, while the remaining other was linked to religious activities.
The Kg Nyatoh cluster was linked to a religious school in Kg Nyatoh, Rantau in Seremban. It reported 74 cases and has also affected Gombak, Selangor.
The Japan Zamrud construction site cluster logged 21 cases, while the Industri Cheras Jaya cluster linked to a factory reported 14 cases. Both clusters are in Hulu Langat, Selangor.
Twenty one cases were linked to factory workers at the Jalan Dato Sellathevan cluster in Klang, Selangor.
The Meranti Utama cluster in Sepang, Selangor logged 11 cases and was linked to a factory.
In Perak, the Jalan Senu cluster saw 10 cases, all linked to a religious activity.
Two new clusters were reported in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. A supermarket was linked to the Jalan Mutiara Barat cluster, which logged 17 cases, and a factory was linked to the Persiaran Alam cluster which saw 17 cases.
In Sabah, the Kuala Punteh community cluster in Keningau reported 25 cases. β March 5, 2021.
