HEALTH authorities have discovered three new Covid-19 clusters, while declaring the end of another five.
Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said with this, the number of active clusters in the country now stood at 181.
Of the new clusters, 25 cases were discovered in the Jalan Lapan cluster, which reported positive cases in Hulu Langat, Selangor and Cheras, Kepong, Titiwangsa, and Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, the Batu Sembilan cluster in Kuala Langat, Klang, Petaling and Kuala Selangor in Selangor reported 19 cases.
The third cluster of 10 cases known as Nibong was discovered in Johor Bahru.
The index patients of all three clusters were tested positive for Covid-19 after experiencing symptoms.
Noor Hisham also announced that the Sofi, Tapah Prison, Kapor, Jambu and Meldrum clusters were now inactive after the end of the 28 days of surveillance period. β November 30, 2020.
