HEALTH authorities have discovered four new Covid-19 clusters, three of which were traced to a symptomatic individual.
Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with this, the number of active clusters in the country now stood at 183.
The Sungai Mulia construction site cluster was discovered in Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur following a screening exercise of workers at the site.
The cluster has thus far reported 23 positive cases.
Over in Sabah, the Batu Lima cluster which was detected in Kota Kinabalu reported 49 cases.
Meanwhile, the Yayasan cluster in Klang and the Hilir cluster, which spread across Kota Bharu, Tumpat, Bachok and Pasir Puteh in Kelantan reported 21 cases each.
The index patients of Batu Lima, Yayasan and Hilir clusters were tested positive after experiencing symptoms.
Noor Hisham also announced the end of the Megah cluster in Sandakan.
As for active clusters, 49 reported new infections. Of this, the highest number of cases came from the Bina Awan Baru cluster which registered 367 cases followed by the Bintang (76 cases) and Bayam Indah (52 cases) clusters. β November 29, 2020.
