FORMER Perak menteri besar Zambry Abd Kadir is the Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd chairman, effective tomorrow.

MAHB announced the appointment today in a statement. Zambry replaces Zainun Ali, who has resigned, it said.

Zambry was a professor in practice at the Universiti Putra Malaysia’s Putra Business School and an adjunct professor at International Islamic University Malaysia’s Political Science Department. He holds a PhD and a Master’s from Temple University, USA. 

He was previously the CEO of Mind Institute and the Centre for Leadership and Development Studies.

He was the Perak menteri besar from 2009 to 2018 – August 11, 2020.
