MALAYSIA has reported five new Covid-19 cases and nine recoveries as of noon today, bringing the total number of active cases to 81.
Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abudllah said all new cases today involved Malaysians, three of which are imported.
The two local infections were detected during pre-referral screenings at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah.
No new deaths were reported today, keeping the death toll at 121.
Two patients are under intensive care and require ventilators, said Noor Hisham. β July 3, 2020.
