A 48-year-old British national who tested negative for Covid-19 died while in quarantine in Miri.

The man, identified as Thomas Holmes, died on June 12 but police only disclosed the death yesterday.

Lim, in a statement, said when Holmes complained of being sick, he was immediately sent to the Miri hospital, where he died.

A Covid-19 swab test showed he was negative of the virus.
