New active case brings Rembau out of green zone

NEGRI Sembilan’s Rembau, which was the first Covid-19 red zone to report zero active cases, has registered a new active infection, according to the Health Ministry’s latest infographics.

Kelantan, meanwhile, recorded zero active cases in all of its 10 districts.

Rembau was the first red zone to turn green after it reported no active cases on April 21.

However, as of noon yesterday, the district’s cumulative infections went up to 54 with the new active case.

Kelantan has a total of 155 infections, 90 of them in its capital, Kota Baru. It is the second state to report no active cases after Perlis.

Nationwide, yellow zones decreased to 61 from 68, while green zones stand at 85.

Lembah Pantai continues to have the highest toll with 760 cases, of which 298 are active.

Red zones are areas with 41 and more cases, orange (20 to 40), yellow (1 to 19) and green (0).

As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,851 Covid-19 cases, of which 1,719 are active, and 100 deaths. – April 29, 2020.
