PUTRAJAYA, Rembau and Jasin are the latest districts to be tagged as red zones, bringing the total number of Covid-19 hotspots in the country to 21.
Health Ministry data showed that Putrajaya and Rembau in Negeri Sembilan reported 41 cases each, while Jasin in Malacca reported 42.
The Health Ministry classifies a zone red if it has 41 cases or more. An orange zone is for between 20 and 40 cases, while yellow is for fewer than 20 cases.
Of the 3,793 Covid-19 cases recorded in the country as of 12pm on April 6, 2,666 of them were in red zones
Other red zones are, Lembah Pantai (386), Hulu Langat (324), Petaling (296), Kuching (174), Kluang (170), Seremban (162), Johor Bahru (145), Kepong (116), Klang (112), Gombak (110), Titiwangsa (93), Kinta (87), Kota Bahru (82), Tawau (67), Hilir Perak (65), Jerantut (61), Batu Pahat (47), Cheras (45).
There are 29 green zones in the country where no cases have been reported.
The orange districts are Sepang (39), Lahad Datu (38), Seberang Perai Tengah (37), Kuantan (36), Kota Samarahan (36), Kota Kinabalu (34), Kuala Muda (33), Kuala Selangor (30), Muar (30), Melaka Tengah (32), Timur Laut (27), Dungun (27), Besut (29), Hulu Selangor (27), Kulai (24), Kota Setar (24), Alor Gajah (25), Pekan (23) and Kuala Langat (22). β April 7, 2020.
