ALTHOUGH PAS is part of the Selangor government, this did not stop a PAS Youth delegate from the state from demanding that his party end ties with political ally PKR.

In fact Shukri Omar also castigated PKR’s Azmin Ali, who is menteri besar, for insulting ulama (Muslim scholars) of the Islamist party.

Shukri also slammed Selangor-based PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli, who recently claimed that money siphoned from 1MBD had been transferred to an individual linked to PAS.

“I warn Rafizi that if he is man enough, contest again in Pandan (parliamentary seat) and face our members.

“I warn Azmin Ali that if not for the support of our people, he would only be a first term assemblyman (in Bukit Antarabangsa),” Shukri told the PAS Youth assembly in Alor Star, Kedah today. – April 28, 2017.
