A SECOND wave of bad weather is forecast to go on until the end of the inter-monsoon transition period at the end of this month, said Natural Resources and Environment Minister Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
He said erratic weather patterns resulted in a revision of previous predictions that the inter-monsoon transition would end early this month.
“The second wave will go on until the end of the inter-monsoon transition period. We initially forecast the monsoon transition to end in the first week of November. But it’s now the eighth, (so) I foresee the transition will be completed by the end of November,” he told reporters at SM Chong Hwa in Kuala Lumpur today.
