PAKATAN Harapan’s biggest success so far is being able to stay united as a pact despite numerous differences of opinioin, said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Dr Mahathir, who is also PH chairman, said it was not easy to stay united as its partners are all from different backgrounds.

“We have remained united in a pact. This is not easy. We have different ideas, and you know my background, but we are still together.

“They have remained with me. We have four partners and one friendly party (Warisan). Where can you find this?,” he said after an event today when asked to comment on the promises delivered by PH since taking power last May.

Dr Mahathir said the government would fulfil its promises in time.

He said his cabinet members worked together, although sometimes they do not agree on issues.

“It is true that we have differences of opinion but we can still sit together and arrive at a consensus.

“That is why if you see there has not been any disputes in the past year and a half. Maybe there are some disagreements outside but not inside the cabinet,” he said.

PH was formed on September 22, 2015 and consists of Bersatu, DAP , PKR and Amanah.

In recent months, there have been open disagreement between its component parties, especially on the issue of Dr Mahathir handing over power to PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.
