MOHAMAD Sabu today denied there is a delay in tabling the defence white paper.

The defence minister, in response to his predecessor Hishammuddin Hussein’s criticism on the matter, said the white paper will be tabled during the current parliamentary session.

He reminded Hishammuddin that the document is not a “normal essay” to be hastily composed.

“Be patient! There is no delay. The white paper (will be tabled) during this session.

“The defence white paper is not like a normal essay,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby.

Yesterday, Hishammuddin slammed Mohamad, saying the white paper’s tabling has been delayed numerous times.

The Sembrong MP also said he is concerned about the direction of the ministry under Mohamad’s leadership. – October 23, 2019.
