ANOTHER Parti Warisan Sabah member was arrested this afternoon, even as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has called in party president Shafie Apdal for questioning.

Warisan legal adviser Noorazmi Alimat said the party’s media representative, Amarjit Singh, was detained at 3pm today.

“I accompanied him to the MACC office this morning just before 10am. 

“The MACC just called me to confirm that he has been detained,” Noorazmi said.

The MACC has also arrested Warisan vice-president Peter Anthony and Youth chief Azis Jamman in its probe into the alleged embezzlement of RM1.5 billion of federal funds meant for projects in Sabah. – October 19, 2017.
