THE “Bossku” movement will not have garnered support, especially among the younger generation, if Pakatan Harapan (PH) delivers its election promises, said former prime minister Najib Razak.
He said the people have realised that the PH government is unable to deliver after being in power for more than a year.
“Why is it that the people support the ‘Bossku’ movement? ‘Bossku’ is accepted by everyone, including the youngsters.
“Even though I do not possess a motorcycle licence…I can be a youth icon.
“The ‘Bossku’ phenomena cannot have happened if PH fulfils its promises. Now, the youngsters say that PH can’t be trusted,” he said after launching the Setiawangsa Umno divisional meeting at Hotel Flamingo in Ampang today.
“Bossku” is a moniker assumed by Najib since January when he started making his grassroots rounds, especially with young bikers.
Along with that, the slogan “Malu apa bossku” has become viral.
Najib said the people are now able to see for themselves the real PH.
“The people can make comparisons now. Previously, they thought the PH ministers were great.
“But this is the weakness of our system. We can’t correct the situation now, we will have to wait for five years. That is why the people are eagerly awaiting to cast their votes again.” – July 6, 2019.
