Pakatan’s focus on me cost it Semenyih win, says ‘Bossku’

NAJIB Razak tonight said Pakatan Harapan made a huge mistake by choosing to frequently attack him during the Semenyih polls campaign instead of focusing on the people’s needs.

“The people wanted to know PH’s agenda for them, and what the pact stands for.

“Instead of focusing on what they planned to do here, they chose to attack me,” said the former prime minister at the vote-tallying centre at Kajang Municipal Council’s Seri Cempaka Hall.

Barisan Nasional’s Zakaria Hanafi was declared the new Semenyih assemblyman at 9.25pm, winning the four-way contest with a 1,914-vote majority.

Najib had used his “Malu Apa Bossku” campaign to great effect in Semenyih, after the slogan made its debut in January’s Cameron Highlands by-election.

It proved a success, drawing a crowd of some 500 at his first appearance on the Semenyih campaign trail and seeing him constantly surrounded by supporters requesting photos.

Following the announcement of Zakaria’s win, BN acting chairman Mohamad Hasan said Najib was among the factors that led to the victory.

Najib said BN has regained public confidence despite no longer being the government.

“The ‘Bossku’ factor was not planned. It came about organically, and captured the hearts of youth.

“The people have switched back to BN. The Umno-PAS cooperation is also a huge factor.

“I’m humbled by this victory. I don’t want us to gloat and overstate this win. It is a small step forward for BN.” – March 2, 2019.

  • Every sore in our system reminds us of you. How not to focus on you when you are still around spreading hate speeches?

  • Stop overbloating and gloating yourself with farts of unnecessary foul air. The rakyat did it to tell PH why a scum like you are freely walking around. The very thought of you on your crimes waiting to be fully convicted are no more to be tolerated. Making it worse is your mingling with Mat Rempits on thier symbol of devilish ride in the Y suku bike is just incomprehensible for anyone to accept a devil like you who will go all out at the expense of the country burning . The only consolation is PH loss to a rude awakening and not to take the rakyat for granted. The next by election winner is where both UmnoPAS or PH will be in future. Let's wait for the oozing of sentiments from the street and it is up to who hears it well. PH on sheer desperation to win back the rakyat support will start to offer goodies and resort to half hearted implementations of some o easy reforms. This only will incite and invite disdain of a flip flop government with no rakyat interest at heart . Take Heed PH!! This is a country of rakyat you are administrating and not a game to play play!!!. I will love to write and predict who will win the next by election. So far Semenyih had proven the facts finding correct.

  • Today, comparing PH and BN is like comparing two evils. There is no reason for the voters not to choose the less evil. So, is PH loss because BN is better? Not really, an once kleptocratic government is very scarry.

The main reason for PH loss is due to the poor propaganda tactic carried out by PH.

The second reason for PH loss is just that the voters are still prone to believe in toxic speeches given by UMNO and PAS.

PH must tackle these two areas in the upcoming Rantau election.
