PEOPLE are still not convinced with the performance of the Pakatan Harapan federal government although it has been in power for nine months, said Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari today.
He said he himself noted that the people have yet to see the impact of the new government.
He said the people’s confidence was reflected in PH’s defeat in the recent Cameron Highlands by-election.
“PH’s failure to win in Cameron Highlands reflects the people’s sentiments which are still unconvinced with the federal government,” he said in a forum this evening in Shah Alam.
He said open conflict between PH leaders did not make a good impression among the people.
Amirudin said ministries in the PH administration must cooperate better, and the federal government’s achievements must be explained to the people.
PH took power from Barisan Nasional after the general election in May last year.
Selangor, meanwhile, has not been under BN rule since 2008.
