SABAH Umno is intact and all of its activities in all divisions continue without a hitch, said party liaison chief Hajiji Mohd Noor.

Hajiji was responding to media report that the Sabah chapter of Umno would collapse due to a fallout between state and central leaders.

Sabah Umno has 11 state assemblymen and is part of Gabungan Bersatu Sabah, a new coalition formed to replace Barisan Nasional in Sabah.

“GE14 is over. We should now focus on our daily work, more so with the current challenging economic situation in this country.

“Everyone in Sabah should work together to help make this country great again. We need to get our priorities right,” Hajiji said in a brief statement, today.

Earlier, Sabah Umno secretary Masidi Manjun rubbished a Daily Express report that there will be an exodus of elected representatives from Umno due to growing unpopularity of the party in Sabah. – December 1, 2018.
