UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya, where he will continue to be questioned over a graft case.

This is the fourth time Zahid has been called in by the anti-corruption agency.

He arrived at 9.16am, accompanied by lawyers, in a white Lexus SUV.

No supporters were on hand to greet him.

Zahid’s daughter, Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid, arrived at 9.23am.

In July, MACC had questioned the former deputy prime minister twice in relation to a charitable organisation he had set up – the Akal Budi Foundation.

It was reported that RM800,000 had been allegedly misappropriated from the foundation to pay off Zahid and his wife’s credit card bills.

The former deputy prime minister and home minister has said the matter was due to a mistake.
