FOUNDED by Amelia Rudolph, Bandaloop presents aerial dance and reimagines dance, which activates public spaces, and inspires wonder and imagination around the world.
Based in Oakland, California, Bandaloop creates work for its biannual home season and for touring performances presented around the globe each year. The company has performed for millions of people in more than 20 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia.
Inspired by the possibilities of climbing and rappelling, the choreography draws on aerial, vertical and horizontal movements to craft dances, create a blend of dance, sport, ritual and environmental awareness.
