– 6 Oktober, 2021.

  • TDM, the greatest racist who divided the nation along racial lines and caused most of the polarization by blaming and victimizing the other races continues his evil scheme just to get political support. He has enriched his family wondrously at the expense of the poor Malays. He continues to use the racial bait to position his son for the PM position not because he believes this is the problem. He is a very clever and conniving surreptitious and evil man who knows how to exploit the weakness of the poor Malays, even at their expense. Keep them in perpetual fear of a fictitious enemy, in ignorance and in poverty while he finds ways to plunder the wealth of the nations for his family and cronies. If he is sincere about assimilation, do things like removing the race column so that there no distinction of race in the IC/Mycard or any registration for Malaysians, for we are all of one race: Malaysian race, allow anyone to use any name, like some Sarawakian Christian Ibans are called Ahmad bin Sulaiman etc. Then the process of assimilation has effective begun without any fallout. It's not about learning or speaking the vernacular languages. I dare say that almost all non Malays are now conversant in Bahasa Malaysia, some speaking better than even Malays themselves.
Soon, India and China will be the leading economies of the world and it will do the nation good for its citizens to know these languages. So many countries, including Thailand and Indonesia are promoting the learning of Mandarin. Why are we learning English which is an alien language? Are we to continue to live in the past and and endorse politicians who continue to use race, religion and other divisive tools to promote themselves in the political arena? Why don't each political party present their approaches to how they propose to the long but vital process of mending the broken economy, the severely damaged educational system and the totally incompetent civil service in order to get the rakyat's support? Then we will have leaders who are of calibre, who think and are focused on real problems and ways of solving them and not leaders who find the cheap, easy, brainless and the dangerous way of racial and religious politics. No wonder we end up with a whole load of rubbish leaders because we endorse and allow leaders who play the cheap politics of division, not leaders who present solutions to our real problems.
