Zuraida lauds Rwanda's culture of cleanliness

RWANDA’S ban on the use of plastic bags, implemented 10 years ago, has led the country to being recognised as the cleanest nation in Africa.

Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said the Rwandan initiative deserves praise.

  • No issue that you are concerned about the level of plastic use. But why isn't any action taken on vehicles emitting black smoke, that ply our roads? Which do you think has an immediate impact on you - inhaling carbon monoxide? Or some plastic bags?
