Sarawak committed to eradicating illegal logging, says minister

THE Sarawak government is committed to eradicating illegal logging activities in the state and has recently been using state-of-the-art technology for the purpose, said Sarawak Urban Development and Natural Resources Minister Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan.

He said among technology used for early detection of such activities were remote sensing, hyperspectral, compact airbone tactical and drones.
