THE United Kingdom has offered to help Malaysia recover assets linked to the scandal-ridden 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) state fund.
British high commissioner to Malaysia Vicki Treadell told reporters yesterday that the UK will support the effort to return any stolen money, but will adhere to due process and the rule of law in doing so.

Wow, this Vicki Treadell said UK will return any stolen money but will adhere to due process and the rule of law -- but where's the law when stolen Malaysian money was laundered in the UK, in the first place? Her plead of ignorance confirms that UK is a haven for fraud that welcome any money, clean or otherwise.
