POLICE will record today a statement from former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Mohammad Agus Yusoff over a video of a lewd chat, which he said was doctored.

Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said Agus will be at the Kajang police headquarters at 2pm today.

He said several other people would also be called up to assist in the investigation of the case.

“Wahab will be called up soon,” he told Bernama, referring to J-Kom assistant officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani.

Razarudin said police are still working to identify the person known as “Mr H”, who reportedly persuaded Wahab to record his conversations with Agus.

A video clip of a conversation said to be between Mohammad Agus and Abdul Wahab went viral last week.

Agus at a press conference on Friday said the video was edited and that he had reported the matter to the police. – Bernama, November 20, 2023.
