May 2 probably 'too late' to hold GE14, says Zahid

DEPUTY Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi once again hinted the date of the 14th general election.

In his speech when launching the 2018 Bumiputera Education Tour at SM Sains Bagan Datuk, he said the polls will be held either before or in early May, after being informed that the final date of the Miri tour is May 2.

“That (May 2) will probably be too late. If possible, make it a bit earlier, or else, there might be a turn of events.”

He has hinted several times as to when GE14 will be called.

It was reported that Zahid said the elections will be held before Hari Raya Aidilfitri. – Bernama, March 24, 2018.
