Suicide bombers kill three, wound dozen in Afghanistan

AT least three people were killed and more than a dozen wounded in multiple suicide bombings in Afghanistan today, officials said, the latest in a series of attacks in the war-torn country.

One suicide bomber detonated his explosives near the diplomatic area of Kabul during the morning rush hour, killing at least one person and wounding six others, interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish told AFP.
