SEREMBAN Umno division secretary M. Rosli Alias died of heart complications today. He was 54.

Rosli, who was also a Seremban Municipal Council (MPS) member, passed away at about 1pm at National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur.

His eldest daughter Nur Faizah, 30, said her father was diagnosed with a heart problem in October last year and went to IJN on Tuesday for a routine check-up, but he had to be warded.

“My father was supposed to be home at Taman Panchor Jaya after his routine check-up because he was supposed to serve as a ‘wali’ for my marriage solemnisation tomorrow,” she said.

Nur Faizah said her father’s remains would be brought to Masjid Kariah Taman Panchor Jaya for prayers before being laid to rest at the Makam Haji Said here after Maghrib prayers.

Rosli is survived by widow, Roslinda Abdullah, 46, and six children. – Bernama, February 22, 2018.
