  • Why is it necessary? Because ignorant human behaviour has destroyed the natural retention systems (trees) and climate change is responsible for changing weather patterns. The rainforest was a sponge as well as part of the natural cycle of evaporation and rain. That balance needs to be restored. Of course the sand miners are happy so they will welcome this stop gap fix with open arms.
