MEDICAL groups have asked for better representation in the independent healthcare work culture improvement task force set up to look into the bullying of trainee doctors in government hospitals.
In a joint statement, the groups said the task force comprised many prominent individuals who are leading members in their respective field but lacked representation from healthcare workers on the ground, especially junior doctors.
“It is our concern that this may lead to a severe disconnect from everyday doctors manning our government hospitals and clinics,” the groups said in the joint statement.
