THE Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) has given an assurance that the integrity of members’ savings data is secure after a fire ravaged its building in Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, today.

It said in a statement that its Petaling Jaya office and branch were temporarily closed until further notice.

The pension fund said its crisis response team was working closely with the Fire and Rescue Department to ensure that the fire did not spread to any other floors or surrounding areas.

“As the safety of customers and staff is our prime concern, total evacuation of the building has been taken, and office and counter services are closed until further notice.” The statement also said that members and employers who wished to perform any transactions with EPF were advised to contact or visit the nearest EPF branch.

“Alternatively, members may call the EPF Contact Management Centre at 03-89226000 or forward their enquiries via the myEPF website at enquiry.kwsp.gov.my. – Bernama, February 13, 2018.
