YAYASAN My First Home (YMFH) targets to help 1,000 B40 households with home ownership this year.

Its chairman Vincent Tan said the foundation was established to facilitate affordable housing loans for B40 category by providing necessary assistance to get the loans, as well as helping to resolve their problems with lenders and creditors.

“We learnt that around 50% to 60% of those who have been allotted a low cost affordable house to buy, could not get their housing loans approved due to poor credit rating and being blacklisted by credit agencies like CTOS and other lenders for non-payment of their commitments.

“YMFH aims to help those blacklisted to be credit worthy again by resolving their credit issues with lenders and creditors,” he told the media after the launch of YMFH here today.

The launch was graced by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. – Bernama, March 3, 2022.
